Review by Eliza Earsman

Talon, Connected. Kindle Edition:

The TALON adventure stories are more than just children’s stories. Under in the skilful hands of German born author Gisela Sedlmayer these narrations come alive and teach about growing up, friendship, and challenges of moral choices and respect. Author Gisela now lives in Australia and devotes much time to furthering her writing craft and presenting us with new and ongoing TALON/MATICA adventures. Each tale stands alone, but are connected to a bigger story.

Enjoy this fourth book in the TALON series as we again meet with the main character Matica and her friends, the condors Talon, Tamo and Tima. Learn to love and identify with them.

In this ably written 378 page book, Matica – the main character – speaks in her own voice. She is an especially enabled special needs child with a growth disability. At this stage, she is stuck in the body of a two year old even though she is ten years old (when the story begins in the first book of the Talon series, TALON, COME FLY WITH ME).

Ms Sedlmayer does an excellent work of bringing the narrative and the characters to life. The author skilfully weaves profound and beautiful messages throughout her works. Readers are left satisfied.

TALON CONNECTED is heart-warming and inspirational, and intended for readers of all ages.

Buy it, gift it, share it. Enjoy. You’ll be glad to do.

A well-deserved five stars.
